DS only goes about 2/3 times a day (and poos once a day) but DD goes every hour or so, I think it's just down to individual 'holding' mechanisms. Not only is it helpful to keep the seat clean but they are asking to use the bathroom a lot more frequently because it's so fun. We have a travel potty which will be used when possible, but it's for when we just can't stop the car. If getting your son to stand at the toilet or not pee on the floor (and the wall) is proving to be a challenge while potty training, this adjustable potty training target will be helpful.
